Gone Fishin' AKA Avoiding the Law with a Happy Ending

Hubby has wanted to take Little Guy fishing for a while now; they haven't been since last summer. Now, normally, I would take advantage of this father-son time to stay at home and have some time to myself, but Hubby really wanted me to tag along.
side note: Hubby is relentless, and he always wins things like this, so along I went.  We found a beautiful (barring some trash on the ground) fishing spot.
Hubby and I had a big worm/cricket debate (I was for crickets, in case you're wondering) and ended up getting both.  In the end, it was the worms that helped Little Guy win his big catch, although I attribute that to buying tiny reptile food crickets from a pet store instead of decent sized ones from a bait shop.
See Little Guy's fish?  He was so proud, but wouldn't let it get remotely near him.
As he caught the fish a nice couple drove up, said hello, turned their vehicle around, and left.  Almost immediately after, I looked up and noticed a faded yellow NO TRESSPASSING sign tacked up high to a tree.  Naturally, this put fear in my "I don't get in trouble" mind, but it certainly wasn't enough to stop Hubby from trying to "just see if we can catch one more."  And they did.
After slinging it in my face for a good laugh, we tossed it back (the first fish too), set our bait free into the wild, packed up the car, and hightailed it out of there in case that nice couple had gone home to call the police on us for trespassing.
Apparently, we made the right move because on the way home, we came across our business magnet that had flown off Hubby's car 2 weeks before!!   We'd assumed it was gone forever, and ended up finding it in the middle of the road, less than a mile from our house!
Score!
